Basic Info-Retreat

1. RETREAT NAME

The name of your retreat is the first thing potential participants see. A well-chosen name creates a positive impression and provides clarity about your retreat's nature and focus, helping participants align their interests and expectations.

Tips for Creating the Retreat Name.

  1. Clarity and Simplicity: Keep the name simple and easy to understand. It should give a clear idea of what the retreat is about.
  2. Relevance: Ensure the name is relevant to the theme or focus of your retreat. It should reflect the essence of the experience.
  3. Emotion and Appeal: Use words that evoke emotions or paint a vivid picture. Think about how the name makes people feel.
  4. Unique and Memorable: Aim for a name that stands out and is easily remembered. Avoid generic or overused terms.
  5. Avoid Jargon: Stay away from industry-specific jargon that may not be familiar to everyone.
  6. Length Matters: Shorter names are often catchier and easier to remember. Aim for a name that's concise but descriptive.
  7. Think About Your Audience: Consider who your target audience is and what type of name would resonate with them.
  8. Test It Out: Say the name out loud. Is it easy to pronounce? Does it flow well?
  9. Visual Imagery: Think about how the name would look in promotional materials. Does it lend itself to creative visuals?
  10. Consider Storytelling: Can the name tell a story or spark curiosity about the retreat?

2. RETREAT ACTIVITY

You must include at least one activity related to your retreat theme. This activity not only reflects your retreat's focus but also serves as a search filter for potential participants. Many retreats offer multiple activities. For example, if you're organising a yoga retreat with additional meditation sessions and Ayurveda workshops, be sure to list meditation and Ayurveda as retreat activities. It's important to provide a brief description for each activity you list.

Important Note: Please do not include activities that you do not offer at your retreat. This will ensure that the search results are relevant to clients.

3. RETREAT INSTRUCTION LANGUAGE

Please choose the language that will be used as the main language at the retreat.
